It’s super simple to customize a Soolla bag since they are made from a thick canvas fabric.

Step 1: Sketch the design with a pencil…I used a regular number two.
Step 2: Trace the sketch with a fine line sharpie.
Step 3: Make sure the sharpie is completely dry. Then, use a clean white eraser to erase the sketches. A red eraser may leave dye on the fabric so make sure to use a white one.
Step 4: Use a fabric paint to fill in. If you’d like the watercolor effect, just dip the paintbrush in the paint and then water and then apply. Or, I’m sure there are other methods that work as well. That’s how I did it…but I do recommend experimenting if you are unsure. I used the bottom of the bag for a little experimenting and then painted over it later.
