Thrifty Makeover

Since the case is made from cardboard, it was easy to transform with craft paint, glue, and decorative trims. I added a little dimension by gluing thread on to create the sunglasses and hat.

I personalized the back with painted “leaf letters” and my daughter uses it for her friendship bracelet supplies.

This project was inspired by a collaboration between photographer Gray Malin and kids clothing company, Janie and Jack. These type of little cases are available at craft stores and are super fun to decorate. I hope you’re inspired to try one for yourself.
