Super Simple Diy Sanrio Picnic + Straw Hat

by

Hi, it’s Dani and Cece! We’d love to share a few photos from our Sanrio inspired picnic.

Our guests included Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Badtz-Maru…who arrived dressed as a Care Bear 😂

Cece wore her favorite Sanrio t-shirt and jean shorts.

We created a simple diy straw hat with patches from Five Below. You can also find tons of cute Sanrio patches here and a few exclusives here.

When we purchased the hat, it was adorned with strawberry, lemon, and cherry patches. We glued Pompompurin, Hello Kitty, and Keroppi patches in between the existing patches. It took less than 5 minutes to make our Sanrio straw hat ❤ There are tons of wide brimmed straw hats for kids that would look amazing with a few of your favorite patches. My bff, London, loves Village Hat Shop San Diego…I found a cute hat on their website that would be perfect for patches.

The finished hat looks so adorable with Cece’s favorite little purse from Meri Meri.

Our Sanrio friends were most excited about dessert so we served a cute confetti cake. The loved it and complimented the adorable Hello Kitty plates and napkins we purchased at Five Below.

Check out our post for Cece’s super simple diy cherry barrette!

After dessert, Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll played a game with our fun tic tac toe pillow. Hello Kitty won with three doughnuts in a row🍩

We had a lovely day at the park and encourage you to have an impromptu picnic of your own…all it takes is a blanket and a few plushie friends to have a sunny day!
